Several years ago I decided that I’d write a book of childrens poems. It started off well enough but due to having a short attention span I only managed to write a few! (Although I do intend to go back and write more one day!) Anyway here’s one of my first attempts at a childrens poem.

A thrusting, audacious and cutting edge poem dealing with life, death and everything inbetween, asking questions that we were all thinking but daren’t ask. And by asking questions that we were all thinking but daren’t ask I mean questions that no one was thinking to even think about asking. Actually looking at it in the cold light of day it just asks more questions than it answers really. Like the ramblings of a madman.

Back when I was only in primary school (in year 6 to be precise (ish)), we were given the task of writing a poem. I wrote my poem about my Nan, Sandra Kelsey. It’s not brilliant, but it means a lot to my Nan, so I’m proud of it! So here’s some of my earliest work for all to see!
