The Bayonets storm the Classic Rock Radio charts

Entering the Classic Rock Radio charts at #19 with their debut single Sucker For Love, The Bayonets have today crept into the top 10, currently sitting at #9 – and still slowly climbing!

The band originally released their single on February 14th, and it was quickly picked up by Steven Van Zandt who labeled it ‘the coolest song in the world’. After creating his ‘Little Steven Edit’ of the song, he tirelessly promoted it on his Underground Garage radio station on SiriusXM.

This publicity combined with the bands efforts have really paid off. Enthusing about the bands success in the charts, lead singer Brian Ray said, “It’s nuts! I’m so chuffed we broke the top 10 today […] If you see the others in charts, they’re all my favorite bands ever!!”

And if that wasn’t a good enough achievement, The Bayonets’ Sucker For Love music video has also received over 17,000 views. The video for their debut single is in the style of a 1970 TV dating game show, featuring both founding members Brian Ray and Oliver Leiber, as well as a lineup of beautiful women.

In addition to this the band have also got their own Wikipedia page where you can find out all the info on the members and their music, so be sure to check it out here:

Sucker For Love and Sucker For Love (Little Steven Edit) are both available to buy from now as a digital download only, or you can purchase one of three bundles that include photos and special pewter guitar pick charms. $1 for each and every bundle sold going to the Pet Adoption Fund. You can also head over to iTunes to get your hands and ears on the tracks.
