The Bayonets release their sexily rocking Smartphone music video

The Bayonets have released a moody, rocking and sexily appropriate music video to accompany their brand new single Smartphone, depicting the thrills and spills of modern technology.

The video features Brian Ray coolly rocking out on his gorgeous Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary, and Oliver Lieber pounding away on his pearly set of drums all while Lucrecia López Sanz sexes up, aims her smartphone and gets ready to film herself having some fun (not as erotically suggestive as it sounds)! The band are also joined by the gorgeous P!nk and Telstar bassist Eva Gardner.

As the song suggests, Smartphone is about people going crazy with technology that allows them to instantly share their adventures (and misadventures) with the world, and the music video shows a whole host of sexy women and hapless men getting up to all sorts of antics and capturing them on their phones.

As with the fun Sucker For Love video and several of Brian’s solo videos, the moody Smartphone video was expertly edited by Brian French of Tempo Entertainment.

The new music video comes hot on the heels of news that Smartphone has broken into the Classic Rock Radio charts entering at #18, with Brian describing himself as “kinda just blown away” by both the fan reaction to The Bayonets and the news of their new song’s early success (full story here).

The new song is available as a MP3 download to buy from The Bayonet’s official website, Brian Ray’s official website and iTunes. You can also get The Bayonets’ smash hit debut single from these places too!
