And the “Brian Ray’s birthday bonanza” contest winner is…!

All you had to do to get your hands on Brian Ray’s two fantastic solo albums was answer one simple question, and finally after just over a week of being inundated with contest entries the one lucky winner has been announced!

The prizes us for grabs were Brian’s two musical masterpieces; Mondo Magneto (2005) and This Way Up (2010). The two guitar driven albums are both skilfully and brilliantly written, featuring some amazingly crafted songs, both rockers and ballads. The lyrics are eloquently and poetically rocking and the melody’s are infectiously bouncy, and these are albums that can be enjoyed time and time again.

The contest question was…

Which famous Smokey Robinson song did Brian Ray release a rocked up version of in 2005

And the answer is…

Tears of a Clown

Congratulations to Frankie Jones for getting the right answer!
Be sure to check your emails to find out how to claim your prize!

And just so everyone knows, the winner selection process was simple: the good old fashioned ‘names on a piece of paper, folded up and put in a hat’ method. You can’t get much fairer than that…and that is a scientific fact!

So without further ado here is Brain’s rendition of Smokey Robinson’s classic track Tears of a Clown. Enjoy…and thank you to EVERYONE that entered the contest!
