The Bayonets announce an exciting new contest

With The Bayonets’ upcoming album in the final mixing stages, the band have announced an exciting new springtime contest asking fans around the world to help design a cover for the first singe from the album.

The winner will receive song great exclusive prizes including a CD signed by Bayonet’s co-founders Oliver Leiber and Brian Ray when it is released. The contest was announced in a recent newsletter sent out to fans keeping them up to date on the progress of the highly anticipated album.

Explaining the terms of the contest, lead singer Brian Ray said:

Help us make a digital single ‘cover’ to be displayed wherever our single is sold online. You will create the art and title font as well! We will announce the song title soon and describe the lyrical idea, then we’ll let you take it wherever your imagination will lead. The winner of the single cover contest will get a Skype meeting with Oliver Leiber and I, with an “E-Tour” of the studio where we created the music you have kindly supported, as well as a signed CD when it is released.

As well as the exclusive contest, the newsletter also confirms the involvement of sole female Bayonet Lucrecia Lopez Sanz who has contributed vocals from her home city of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
