Former Oasis co-frontman and guitarist Noel Gallagher is back with a second solo outing with his High Flying Birds. His new album Chasing Yesterday is set for release early next year, just short of 3-and-a-half years after his highly successful self titled first solo album: Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
With Chasing Yesterday hitting stores on March 2nd 2015, the new album was completely self penned and self produced. Though in his usual Mancunian style, Noel described the whole process as “a major pain in the arse.” However despite his apparent lack of enthusiasm, fans around the world will be eager to get their hands (and ears) on some fresh music.
As such it came as a sweet surprise when Noel treated fans to In The Heat Of The Moment, the lead single from the new album. Strangely other-worldly and hook-y, the single is a fantastic first offering, showcasing Noels expert songwriting prowess. You can read a full review of the single here.
And to top it all off, there will be a brand new tour in support of the album. Kicking off in the UK, the 13-date tour will head across the country before hopping over to Europe for shows on the continent. You can find a full list of tour dates at the end of this post.
You can keep up to date with Noel Gallagher on his official website.
