In only a short space of time, adult film star Alison Tyler has made it big in the porn industry. Despite having great success in her career, she has remained grounded, down to earth and accessible to her many fans.
Alison was born in 1990 in Orange County, California. Although she hasn’t been in the industry for a long time, she has clocked up many hours worth of on-screen experience since she starred in her first professional adult film at the age of 20.
Alison has even had the opportunity to attend the AVN (adult video news) awards, and while she wasn’t there to win anything, she had the fantastic opportunity to network and rub shoulders with the good and great of the business.
As well as keeping in constant contact with her fans through various social networking sites, Alison also maintains and updates a personal blog in which she chronicles her day to day experiences in the porn industry. She also gives her fans the opportunity to contact her with comments, requests and questions, all of which she personally replies to.
Alison was happy to answer some of my questions:
How did you did you get into the porn industry in the first place?
Actually my agent found me. I’ve always been sexually open, and when the opportunity popped up I figured hey why not!
Is the porn industry as competitive and bitchy as people say?
Erm…yes and no. It is EXTREMELY competitive, but most of the girls are pretty sweet.
What is it like having sex for a living?
It has its ups and downs. People outside the industry have a really twisted view on porn but it really is work. Don’t get me wrong its fun but it is a job.
Do you prefer to sleep with men or women?
Oh I LOVE both! I’ll hit on girls just as much as guys!
How much do you keep in contact with your many fans?
I tweet, email, Facebook, cam, Skype, you can pay to chat with me on the phone, have phone sex, and I run all accounts myself. I try to stay as connected with my fans as I can.
What have been the highlights of your career?

Are there any parts of your career that you regret?
No!
Is there anything in your career that you want to do but haven’t done yet?
Anything? No. Anyone? Yes!
What are your plans for the future?
I plan to run my own site eventually and I really want to become a special FX makeup artist.
