The Bayonets push back other singles to focus on Sucker For Love’s success

Capitalizing on the astonishing success of their debut track Sucker For Love and the impending release of Steven Van Zandt’s radio edit, The Bayonets have made the decision to push back the release of their 4 other singles by seven weeks.

Released on Valentines Day and having exceeded all expectations in the following weeks, Sucker For Love has not only caught the ears of music lovers around the world, but was picked up by Steven Van Zandt (Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band) who was so impressed by what he heard that he cut together a brand new radio edit.

Steven’s radio edit, which is fully endorsed by The Bayonets, will be premiered on Sunday March 24th and will recieve maximum airplay for six weeks at Little Steven’s Underground Garage found on SiriusXM, Station 21 as well as his 170 (satellite and terrestrial) radio markets in the US, and in 180 countries worldwide.

Also during the first week of the six week run on Underground Garage, Sucker For Love will be awarded the prestigious title: “Coolest Song In The World”!

The band will be embarking on a wider radio campaign in tandem with the release of Steven’s radio edit, giving the bands infectious, 60’s tinged rock music a chance to reach even more ears. They are also in the process of recording a funky and funny music video to accompany the radio edit.

Fans will be able to buy the new edit from March 26th from iTunes and Amazon, however if they head over to www.brianray.com and purchase one of the several impressive Bayonets bundles featuring the original Sucker For Love plus exclusive merchandise, they will receive the radio edit absolutely free.

In a newsletter from his website, Brian Ray (lead singer, guitarist and one half of the brains behind The Bayonets) said:

Our new ‘string of singles’ campaign is exciting and we will change tactics as “conditions on the ground” develop. We have decided to push back the release of the following singles by 7 weeks to give “Sucker” our full attention. We feel so passionately about these new songs and we hope you can adjust along with us as the story unfolds. We just wanna make the most of it and rock your cotton socks off!

Sucker For Love has received an overwhelming positive response from music lovers, and fans are baying for the next single. While there are no solid plans for anything other than the five promised singles, fans have given a massive thumbs-up to hints of a possible vinyl LP from the band. This support for Brian Ray, Oliver Leiber and their daring musical venture has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated:

Thank you for all the comments on my site, I read and respond as often as I can and Oliver and I thank you for your continued support. We are psyched for you to unwrap the rest of the music from The Bayonets.

So that’s that. Just like a pair of old Levi’s at a black tie dance with the socialites, The Bayonets are rocked up, laid back and here for the duration. So you might as well sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

The new and updated Bayonets singles release schedule:
